Although Hannah + Mike both attended the same small college, their love story didn't begin until after they graduated in the fall of 2018. They were both invited to a Halloween party in Boston hosted by mutual friend. Mike still remembers the moment he first met Hannah, it's hard to forget the cute girl dressed as a cactus! The two hit it off right away, exchanged numbers, and texted for a few days before things fizzled out. Fast forward a couple months when
Julie decided to throw yet another Holiday party, this time to celebrate Christmas. Hannah was excited for the party, but also felt a sense of dread after finding out that Mike had been invited. She felt as though she had been ghosted by him, but if you asked him, he felt as though it was Hannah who ended the text conversation after they initially met. About an hour into the night, the two couldn't avoid each other any longer. The two decided to approach one another to squash the beef. After a few moments of awkward small talk, Hannah asked Mike what happened. Relieved it was just a misunderstanding, the two once again engaged in a long night of talking, laughing, and making plans.
That brings us to August 26th, 2023 at Omni Mount Washington Resort, where Hannah + Mike would finally be able to tie the knot and call each other husband and wife. The ceremony on the terrace was stunning, though slightly terrifying as we watched massive dark clouds roll in quickly over the New Hampshire mountains. However, some fast talking got everyone under cover just before the skies opened up. The rain let up just long enough for us to head outside for a fun sunset session where the White Mountains and cloudy skies provided a moody backdrop.
